John Domingue is a professor at and deputy director of the Knowledge Media Institute at the Open University in Milton Keynes.[1] He is the current president of the Semantic Technology Institute International (STI2), following Dieter Fensel.[2]
He is a researcher in the application of semantic technologies in the automation of the management and deployment of Web services. He has published over 200 publications[3] in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and the Web.
He is the Scientific Director of SOA4All and has worked in dozens of other research projects.[4] Prof. Domingue is also Chair of the Steering Committee for the European Semantic Web Conference Series[5] and member of the Future Internet Symposium Series steering committee.[6] He coordinates the Future Internet Service Offer Working Group within the Future Internet Assembly.[7] Prof. Domingue is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Web Semantics.
